Position Overview

We are seeking a visionary and technically skilled Software Developer 4 to lead a team in building and maintaining a critical software platform end-to-end. This role requires expertise in the full software development lifecycle, from initial design and development through delivery and ongoing maintenance. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership qualities and a proven ability to drive projects to completion, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-impact solutions for Oracle's cloud ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and deployment of scalable software platforms using modern cloud-native architectures
• Mentor and guide a team of developers, conducting code reviews and fostering best practices in software engineering
• Architect end-to-end solutions, ensuring high performance, reliability, and security across the full development lifecycle
• Collaborate with product managers, architects, and stakeholders to define technical requirements and roadmaps
• Implement and optimize microservices, APIs, and integrations within Oracle's cloud infrastructure
• Drive troubleshooting and resolution of complex production issues, minimizing downtime and enhancing system stability
• Develop automated testing strategies, including unit, integration, and performance tests, to ensure code quality
• Contribute to technical documentation, knowledge sharing, and process improvements for agile delivery
• Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend innovations to enhance platform capabilities
• Ensure compliance with Oracle's security standards and industry best practices throughout the development process

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience
• 8+ years of professional software development experience with a focus on enterprise-scale applications
• Proficiency in Java, Python, or C++ with hands-on experience in building distributed systems
• Strong knowledge of cloud platforms, preferably Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), AWS, or Azure
• Experience leading development teams and managing full software development lifecycle projects
• Demonstrated ability to write clean, maintainable code with expertise in version control (e.g., Git)
• Solid understanding of databases, including relational (e.g., Oracle Database) and NoSQL technologies
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to deliver under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree in Computer Science or related field
• Experience with Oracle technologies such as Oracle Database, Fusion Middleware, or OCI services
• Proficiency in containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI)
• Background in agile methodologies and tools like Jira or Confluence
• Contributions to open-source projects or relevant certifications (e.g., Oracle Cloud Professional)
