Overview
The Generative AI Agent Service team is pioneering AI innovation, building industry-leading cloud-native services with state-of-the-art Generative AI technologies. As a Senior Principal Software Developer, you will lead the design, development, and operation of scalable, distributed AI agent services. Collaborate with scientists and product managers to productionize cutting-edge research, solving real-world problems for global customers at the intersection of AI and cloud infrastructure.
Responsibilities
- Lead architecture and design of scalable, distributed AI agent services using cloud-native technologies.
- Develop high-performance microservices for Generative AI workloads, ensuring reliability and efficiency.
- Collaborate with applied scientists to integrate state-of-the-art AI models into production systems.
- Drive end-to-end feature development from ideation to deployment and monitoring.
- Optimize system performance, scalability, and cost-efficiency in multi-region cloud environments.
- Mentor junior developers and conduct code reviews to maintain high engineering standards.
- Implement observability, monitoring, and alerting for mission-critical AI services.
- Partner with product managers to define technical roadmaps and deliver customer-impacting features.
Qualifications
- 12+ years of software development experience with distributed systems and microservices.
- Deep expertise in cloud platforms (OCI, AWS, GCP) and container orchestration (Kubernetes).
- Strong proficiency in Java, Python, or Go with experience in high-throughput systems.
- Proven track record productionizing AI/ML models and Generative AI technologies.
- Experience with observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana) and CI/CD pipelines.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to lead cross-functional teams.
