Oracle is seeking a Software Developer - Architect to lead the design and implementation of Datapath Primitives for high-performance computing systems. This role involves architecting scalable, efficient primitives that form the foundation of Oracle's next-generation data processing infrastructure. Responsibilities

  • Architect and design high-performance Datapath Primitives for Oracle's core platforms.
  • Lead the development of scalable, low-latency data processing components.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define primitive specifications and APIs.
  • Optimize primitives for performance across multi-core, GPU, and distributed environments.
  • Mentor junior developers and conduct code reviews for quality and efficiency.
  • Prototype and validate new primitive designs using simulation and hardware emulation.
  • Integrate primitives into Oracle's cloud infrastructure and database systems.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends in datapath design and contribute to technical roadmaps.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
  • 8+ years of experience in software architecture, with focus on low-level systems programming.
  • Expertise in C/C++, assembly, and hardware-software co-design for datapath components.
  • Strong knowledge of computer architecture, including SIMD, vector processing, and pipelining.
  • Experience with Oracle technologies (e.g., Oracle Database, Exadata) highly preferred.
  • Proven track record of delivering high-impact primitives in production environments.
