Overview

Senior Software Developer/SRE role in Oracle Fusion Data Intelligence (FDI), a fully managed cloud service providing turn-key enterprise warehousing for Oracle Cloud Applications. Built on advanced data integration and BI platforms, this position enables 24x7 operations in product development. US Citizenship and US residency required to meet US-Gov requirements.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain software for 24x7 operational reliability in FDI cloud services.
• Implement monitoring, alerting, and automation for production environments.
• Perform incident response, root cause analysis, and post-mortem reviews.
• Optimize system performance and scalability using modern tech stacks.
• Collaborate with development teams on CI/CD pipelines and deployment strategies.
• Ensure high availability, disaster recovery, and compliance with US-Gov standards.
• Proactively identify and resolve infrastructure and application issues.
• Contribute to on-call rotations and operational excellence initiatives.

Qualifications

• US Citizenship and US residency required for US-Gov compliance.
• 5+ years experience as Software Developer or SRE in cloud environments.
• Proficiency in Java, Python, or similar languages for backend development.
• Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (OCI, AWS, Azure) and container orchestration (Kubernetes).
• Experience with monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana) and observability practices.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and experience with high-scale distributed systems.
