Responsibilities

• Lead a team of engineers in designing and developing scalable cloud services for distributed systems.
• Define technical vision and roadmap aligned with Oracle's cloud strategy.
• Mentor and grow engineering talent, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.
• Collaborate with product managers, architects, and stakeholders to prioritize features and deliverables.
• Drive end-to-end project execution, ensuring high quality, performance, and reliability.
• Optimize system architecture for scalability, resilience, and cost-efficiency at massive scale.
• Identify and mitigate technical risks, implementing best practices for CI/CD and DevOps.
• Represent the team in cross-functional initiatives and contribute to Oracle's cloud platform evolution.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of software development experience, with 5+ years in leadership roles managing distributed systems.
• Proven track record building high-scale cloud services (e.g., AWS, Azure, OCI).
• Deep expertise in system design, microservices, and technologies like Java, Go, or Python.
• Strong experience with databases, caching, messaging systems, and container orchestration (Kubernetes).
• Excellent leadership, communication, and mentoring skills in a fast-paced environment.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related field; India location required.
