Overview

OCI FastConnect delivers cloud-scale, geo-distributed services that automate capacity expansion, enable multi-cloud connectivity, and ensure seamless hybrid cloud experiences. We seek an experienced Software Development Senior Manager to lead a team designing, developing, operating, and troubleshooting cloud-based microservices and products. Apply your software architecture expertise to manage development, debugging, and design of applications, operating systems, and databases per specifications.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and mentor a high-performing software engineering team focused on OCI FastConnect microservices.
  • Oversee design, development, and deployment of scalable, geo-distributed cloud networking solutions.
  • Manage software development lifecycle, from requirements to production troubleshooting and debugging.
  • Drive architecture decisions for large-scale, automated networking configurations and hybrid cloud integrations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate customer intent into intelligent platform features.
  • Ensure operational excellence, including capacity expansion and multi-cloud/cross-region connectivity.
  • Implement best practices for software reliability, performance, and security in cloud environments.
  • Foster innovation and continuous improvement in team processes and product delivery.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years in software engineering with 5+ years managing engineering teams in cloud environments.
  • Deep expertise in software architecture, microservices, and distributed systems design.
  • Strong experience with cloud platforms (OCI, AWS, Azure) and networking technologies like FastConnect.
  • Proven track record in developing, debugging, and operating high-scale applications and databases.
  • Excellent leadership skills with ability to mentor engineers and drive technical excellence.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
