Overview

Oracle's Global Controllers Organization (GCO) is seeking a Sr. Assistant Controller to support North America Revenue for our Data Centers in Rocklin, CA. This role plays a critical part in ensuring accurate financial reporting, compliance, and revenue recognition across high-growth data center operations. Responsibilities

• Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue close processes for North America Data Centers.
• Ensure compliance with ASC 606 revenue recognition standards and internal controls.
• Prepare and analyze revenue forecasts, variances, and financial reports for leadership.
• Collaborate with sales, legal, and operations teams to resolve revenue recognition issues.
• Manage SOX compliance, internal audits, and financial control documentation.
• Develop and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
• Support external audits and provide detailed revenue documentation.
• Mentor junior staff and lead cross-functional projects as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or equivalent preferred.
• 8+ years of progressive accounting experience, with 5+ years in revenue accounting.
• Deep expertise in ASC 606 and complex revenue recognition in SaaS/cloud environments.
• Strong knowledge of SOX, GAAP, and internal controls.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel; experience with Oracle ERP or similar systems a plus.
• Proven leadership skills and ability to thrive in fast-paced, high-growth settings.
