Overview

The Sr. Director of Site Selection will lead a large global site team, conducting analytics and market research in targeted metros and regions to identify site opportunities. This role involves determining market rates, negotiating commercial terms with data center operators and stakeholders, and constructing complex lease agreements. Based in the United Kingdom, the position drives strategic site selection for Oracle's expanding data center infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Guide a large team in performing global site analytics and market research across targeted metros and regions.
• Develop and identify high-potential site selection opportunities for data centers.
• Conduct in-depth market analysis to determine competitive market rates.
• Negotiate commercial terms and agreements with data center operators and key stakeholders.
• Construct and negotiate complex lease agreements and associated legal documents for large-scale sites.
• Collaborate with legal, finance, and operations teams to ensure compliant and optimal deals.
• Monitor industry trends, regulatory changes, and competitive landscapes to inform site strategies.
• Present site selection recommendations and negotiations to senior leadership for approval.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of experience in real estate, site selection, or data center development, with 8+ years in senior leadership.
• Proven track record in negotiating complex lease agreements and commercial terms globally.
• Deep knowledge of data center industry, market dynamics, and infrastructure requirements.
• Strong analytical skills with expertise in market research and financial modeling.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management abilities.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Real Estate, Engineering, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
