Position Overview

Join the Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) HR team in this full-time, onsite role based in Seattle, WA (or Bay Area locations). As we modernize our HR operating model to support OCI’s rapid growth, you will serve as a strategic Senior HR Business Partner, partnering closely with Executive Leadership.

You will drive impactful people strategies, foster a high-performance culture, and align HR initiatives with business objectives to enable OCI's continued expansion.

This role offers the opportunity to influence organizational design, talent management, and employee engagement in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner strategically with OCI executive leaders to align HR initiatives with business goals and drive organizational effectiveness.
  • Lead talent management processes, including succession planning, leadership development, and high-potential identification.
  • Design and implement people strategies that support rapid scaling, including organizational design and change management.
  • Advise on employee relations issues, performance management, and conflict resolution to maintain a positive work environment.
  • Collaborate with HR centers of excellence to deliver comprehensive HR solutions, from compensation to learning and development.
  • Analyze people data and metrics to provide insights on workforce trends, retention, and engagement.
  • Facilitate leadership offsites and team-building initiatives to enhance culture and collaboration.
  • Champion diversity, equity, and inclusion efforts within OCI business units.
  • Support recruitment strategies for key leadership and critical roles during periods of hyper-growth.
  • Drive HR projects related to modernizing processes and adopting new HR technologies.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field; Master's degree or HR certification (e.g., SPHR, PHR) preferred.
  • 8+ years of progressive HR Business Partner experience, with at least 3 years in a tech or high-growth environment.
  • Proven track record partnering with senior executives on strategic HR initiatives.
  • Strong knowledge of full HR lifecycle, including talent acquisition, performance management, and employee relations.
  • Excellent consulting skills with ability to influence without authority.
  • Analytical mindset with experience using HR metrics and data-driven decision-making.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with experience presenting to C-suite leaders.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment with a focus on execution.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in cloud computing, SaaS, or technology industry HR roles.
  • Background supporting engineering, product, or sales organizations at scale.
  • Expertise in organizational design and change management frameworks.
  • Familiarity with OCI or similar hyperscale cloud platforms.
  • Advanced proficiency in HRIS systems like Workday or Oracle HCM Cloud.
