Overview

Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) is building a next-generation cloud platform supporting demanding mission-critical customer requirements in a secure, distributed, multi-tenant environment. As a Sr Principal Software Developer, you will design, develop, troubleshoot, and debug software programs for databases, applications, tools, and networks. This role offers relocation to Czechia from Egypt.

Responsibilities

• Design and architect scalable software solutions for OCI cloud services.
• Develop high-performance applications and tools using modern programming languages.
• Troubleshoot and debug complex issues in databases, networks, and distributed systems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver mission-critical features.
• Optimize software for security, reliability, and multi-tenant environments.
• Mentor junior developers and lead technical initiatives.
• Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices.
• Contribute to global operations supporting OCI's worldwide infrastructure.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of software development experience in cloud or enterprise environments.
• Expertise in Java, C++, Python, or similar languages.
• Strong knowledge of databases, networking, and distributed systems.
• Experience with cloud platforms (OCI, AWS, Azure preferred).
• Proven track record in designing scalable, high-availability systems.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to relocate to Czechia.
