Position Overview

We are seeking a visionary and technically skilled Sr Principal Software Developer to lead a team in building and maintaining a critical software platform end-to-end. This role requires deep expertise in the full software development lifecycle, from initial design and development through delivery and ongoing maintenance. Key Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end design, development, and deployment of scalable software platforms using modern cloud technologies.
• Mentor and guide a team of senior developers, fostering best practices in code quality, testing, and DevOps.
• Architect robust, high-performance systems that integrate with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) services.
• Drive technical innovation by evaluating and implementing emerging technologies to enhance platform capabilities.
• Collaborate with product managers, architects, and stakeholders to define requirements and deliver roadmaps on time.
• Conduct code reviews, ensure adherence to security standards, and optimize for performance and reliability.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex production issues, implementing proactive monitoring and maintenance strategies.
• Champion agile methodologies, leading sprint planning, retrospectives, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Document technical designs, APIs, and system architectures to support team knowledge sharing and scalability.
• Represent the team in cross-functional meetings, influencing strategic decisions at the organizational level.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
• 12+ years of professional software development experience with a focus on enterprise-scale applications.
• Proven expertise in Java, Python, or Go, with strong knowledge of microservices and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Deep experience with cloud platforms, preferably Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) or AWS/Azure equivalents.
• Demonstrated leadership in guiding engineering teams through full SDLC, from design to production deployment.
• Strong proficiency in databases, including relational (Oracle DB) and NoSQL solutions.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, version control (Git), and automated testing frameworks.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with a track record of delivering high-quality software under tight deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience developing for Oracle Fusion Cloud or similar SaaS platforms.
• Advanced knowledge of OCI services such as Compute, Storage, Networking, and Autonomous Database.
• Contributions to open-source projects or publications in software engineering.
• Familiarity with machine learning frameworks or AI/ML integration in software platforms.
• Professional certifications such as Oracle Cloud Professional or AWS Solutions Architect.
