Overview

Interfaces with sales, business units, and suppliers to develop accurate product forecasts and create effective inventory strategies. Resolves supply-demand issues to protect revenue, ensure timely customer delivery, and maintain profit margins. Plays a key role in optimizing supply chain performance at Oracle.

Responsibilities

• Develop monthly product demand forecasts using historical data, market trends, and sales input.
• Collaborate with sales teams to align forecasts with customer commitments and pipeline opportunities.
• Create and maintain inventory strategies to balance stock levels, service levels, and costs.
• Monitor supply chain metrics and identify potential disruptions or imbalances.
• Negotiate with suppliers to secure capacity, lead times, and pricing agreements.
• Analyze supply-demand gaps and recommend actions like production adjustments or expedites.
• Prepare executive-level reports on forecast accuracy, inventory turns, and service performance.
• Drive continuous improvement in planning processes using Oracle tools and best practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in supply-demand planning or inventory management.
• Proficiency in ERP systems, preferably Oracle SCM Cloud or similar.
• Strong analytical skills with Excel; experience with forecasting tools a plus.
• Excellent communication skills for cross-functional collaboration.
• APICS CPIM or CSCP certification preferred.
