Overview

Interfaces with sales, business units, and suppliers to develop accurate product forecasts and create effective inventory strategies. Resolves supply-demand issues to protect revenue, ensure timely customer delivery, and maintain profit margins. Drives data-driven planning to optimize supply chain performance in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop monthly product demand forecasts using historical data, sales input, and market trends.
• Collaborate with sales and business units to align forecasts with revenue targets and customer needs.
• Create and maintain inventory strategies to balance stock levels, service levels, and costs.
• Monitor supply chain performance and identify potential disruptions or imbalances.
• Resolve supply-demand mismatches through supplier negotiations and production adjustments.
• Analyze inventory data to recommend safety stock levels and replenishment policies.
• Prepare executive-level reports on forecast accuracy, inventory turns, and supply risks.
• Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance planning processes and tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in supply-demand planning or inventory management.
• Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle) and advanced Excel; forecasting tools a plus.
• Strong analytical skills with experience in statistical forecasting methods.
• Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration abilities.
• APICS CPIM or CSCP certification preferred.
