Position Overview

As a Systems Analyst 1-Support in Oracle's FY27 Campus Hiring Pipeline, you will provide technical support for Oracle's enterprise software products, troubleshooting issues and ensuring optimal system performance for customers. This entry-level role offers hands-on experience in a dynamic support environment, ideal for recent graduates eager to launch their career in IT support and analysis. Note: This is a pipeline requisition for FY27 campus hiring; internal and external applicants are not accepted at this time.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze customer-reported issues in Oracle enterprise applications and perform root cause analysis to resolve technical problems efficiently.
  • Triage and prioritize support tickets using Oracle's support tools and methodologies to meet service level agreements (SLAs).
  • Reproduce, document, and track software defects in collaboration with development teams for timely fixes.
  • Provide first-line technical support via phone, email, and web portals, guiding customers through troubleshooting steps.
  • Develop and maintain knowledge base articles, scripts, and diagnostic tools to enhance support processes.
  • Monitor system performance and recommend optimizations to improve application reliability and user experience.
  • Collaborate with global support teams to escalate complex issues and share best practices across regions.
  • Conduct preliminary testing of patches and updates in controlled environments before customer deployment.
  • Generate reports on support metrics, trends, and resolutions to support continuous process improvement.
  • Participate in on-call rotations to ensure 24/7 coverage for critical customer incidents.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field (graduating in FY27).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a logical approach to troubleshooting complex systems.
  • Basic understanding of software development lifecycle, databases, and enterprise applications.
  • Proficiency in at least one programming language such as Java, Python, or SQL.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English for customer interactions.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, shift-based environment including nights and weekends as needed.
  • Familiarity with operating systems like Linux/Unix or Windows Server.
  • Demonstrated teamwork and collaboration skills from academic projects or internships.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Hands-on experience with Oracle products such as Oracle Database, Fusion Applications, or Cloud Infrastructure.
  • Knowledge of ITIL framework or support ticketing systems like ServiceNow or Oracle SRM.
  • Scripting experience in Perl, Bash, or PowerShell for automation tasks.
  • Participation in hackathons, tech clubs, or relevant certifications (e.g., Oracle Cloud Foundations).
  • Exposure to cloud computing concepts (AWS, Azure, or Oracle Cloud).
