Responsibilities

• Configure, manage, and optimize SAN/NAS storage systems for high performance and availability.
• Perform capacity planning, provisioning, and performance tuning of enterprise storage arrays.
• Monitor storage infrastructure using tools like Oracle Enterprise Manager and third-party solutions.
• Troubleshoot and resolve storage-related incidents, ensuring minimal downtime for business operations.
• Implement data replication, backups, and disaster recovery procedures for storage environments.
• Collaborate with server, network, and application teams to integrate storage solutions seamlessly.
• Conduct regular health checks, firmware upgrades, and patch management on storage hardware.
• Document storage configurations, procedures, and contribute to knowledge base for team efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field; 3+ years in enterprise storage.
• Expertise in SAN/NAS technologies (EMC, NetApp, Dell, HPE, Pure Storage).
• Proficiency with storage protocols: FC, iSCSI, NFS, SMB/CIFS.
• Experience with Oracle storage solutions, ZFS, or Exadata environments preferred.
• Strong scripting skills (Bash, Python) for automation and monitoring.
• Certifications like Oracle Storage Certified Expert or vendor-specific (e.g., NCDA, SE).
