Position Overview

Oracle is seeking a Technical Analyst 2-Support (Foreign System Interface) to join our dynamic support team in Bengaluru, Karnataka, India. In this client-facing role, you will partner closely with customers to assess, configure, and deliver sophisticated solution-related service requests for application maintenance across multiple product lines. You will leverage application tools to efficiently capture requirements, perform scope assessments, and implement configurations for foreign system interfaces, ensuring seamless integration and optimal system performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with clients to understand complex service requests and perform detailed scope assessments for foreign system interface configurations.
  • Utilize Oracle application tools to capture requirements and implement efficient system configurations across multiple product lines.
  • Analyze and troubleshoot integration issues between Oracle systems and external foreign systems to ensure reliable data exchange.
  • Deliver high-quality solution configurations for application maintenance, minimizing downtime and optimizing performance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product development and customer success, to resolve escalated technical issues.
  • Document configurations, processes, and resolutions to build a knowledge base for future reference and team enablement.
  • Conduct root cause analysis on recurring interface problems and recommend preventive measures or enhancements.
  • Provide technical guidance and training to clients on best practices for foreign system integrations with Oracle products.
  • Monitor system performance post-configuration and proactively identify opportunities for optimization.
  • Participate in on-call rotations to support critical client issues and maintain service level agreements (SLAs).

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in technical support, system configuration, or application integration roles.
  • Strong understanding of foreign system interfaces, APIs, and data exchange protocols (e.g., REST, SOAP, EDI).
  • Proficiency in Oracle applications or similar enterprise software platforms for configuration and maintenance.
  • Experience with scope assessment, requirement gathering, and troubleshooting complex technical issues.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with a client-focused approach in fast-paced environments.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with global clients and teams.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team setting, managing multiple priorities.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Oracle certification in relevant products (e.g., Oracle Cloud, Fusion Applications, or Integration Cloud).
  • Experience with specific foreign system integrations such as SAP, Salesforce, or legacy mainframe systems.
  • Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., Python, JavaScript) for automation and custom configurations.
  • Prior experience in a 24/7 support environment with on-call responsibilities.
  • Familiarity with agile methodologies and tools like Jira for issue tracking and project management.
