Job Description

Overview

As a Technical Analyst 3-Support at Oracle, you will deliver exceptional post-sales support and solutions to our customer base while advocating for their needs within the Support organization. Your role involves troubleshooting complex technical issues, collaborating with engineering teams, and ensuring high customer satisfaction. U.S. Citizenship is required for this position based in the United States.

Responsibilities

  • Provide advanced technical support for Oracle products, resolving complex customer issues efficiently.
  • Analyze customer-reported problems, reproduce issues, and develop workarounds or solutions.
  • Collaborate with development and product teams to escalate and track bug fixes.
  • Create and maintain knowledge base articles, troubleshooting guides, and support documentation.
  • Deliver proactive support through health checks, performance tuning, and best practices recommendations.
  • Engage with customers via phone, email, chat, and remote sessions to diagnose and resolve incidents.
  • Monitor support metrics, identify trends, and contribute to process improvements.
  • Mentor junior support analysts and participate in knowledge-sharing sessions.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in technical support, software engineering, or IT consulting.
  • Deep expertise in Oracle database technologies (e.g., Oracle DB, Cloud Infrastructure).
  • Strong proficiency in SQL, PL/SQL, Java, Linux/Unix, and scripting languages.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with experience in root cause analysis.
  • Outstanding communication skills and ability to interact with customers and cross-functional teams.
