Oracle seeks a Technology Cloud Representative, Communications in Tokyo, Japan, to drive sales of Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) solutions tailored for the communications industry. This role involves engaging with telecom clients to identify opportunities, deliver compelling demonstrations, and close deals to accelerate their cloud adoption. Responsibilities

• Prospect and develop new business opportunities within the communications sector targeting telecom operators and service providers.
• Conduct needs assessments and deliver customized OCI solution demonstrations to showcase value for communications workloads.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including C-level executives and technical decision-makers.
• Collaborate with internal teams, including pre-sales engineers and product specialists, to craft winning proposals.
• Drive the full sales cycle from lead generation to contract negotiation and closure.
• Provide industry-specific insights on cloud migration, 5G, edge computing, and network modernization using OCI.
• Achieve and exceed quarterly and annual sales quotas while expanding Oracle's market share in Japan.
• Stay updated on communications industry trends and competitive landscape to position OCI effectively.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
• 5+ years of enterprise software sales experience, with proven success in cloud infrastructure or communications IT solutions.
• Deep knowledge of the Japanese communications industry, including telecom networks, 5G, and digital transformation.
• Strong technical understanding of cloud computing, OCI, AWS, or Azure; hands-on experience preferred.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills in Japanese and English.
• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets in a quota-carrying role.
