Job Description

Overview

The Java SE Enterprise JAPAC business develops new opportunities in the untapped market of Oracle Java users (95% of enterprises and government agencies). We promote Java SE subscriptions to IT-Infrastructure heads, IT-Security leaders, and CIOs for enterprise-wide secure and productive Java use. As a Technology Sales Representative in Korea, you will drive license and support sales to ensure reliable Java deployment.

Responsibilities

  • Prospect and engage IT-Infrastructure, IT-Security heads, and CIOs in Korean enterprises.
  • Promote Java SE subscription benefits for secure and productive Java usage.
  • Conduct product demonstrations and presentations tailored to enterprise needs.
  • Develop and manage sales pipelines to achieve quarterly revenue targets.
  • Build relationships with key decision-makers in government and enterprise sectors.
  • Collaborate with technical teams to address customer technical concerns.
  • Negotiate contracts, licenses, and support agreements effectively.
  • Track market trends and competitor activities to refine sales strategies.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business, or related field.
  • 3+ years of enterprise software sales experience, preferably in Korea.
  • Strong understanding of Java technologies and IT infrastructure.
  • Proven track record in B2B sales to C-level executives.
  • Excellent communication skills in Korean and English.
  • Ability to travel within Korea as needed.
