Job Description

Overview

Leads Oracle’s response to third-party cybersecurity incidents, ensuring robust protection of systems and data. Drives compliance with regulatory standards and enhances overall risk management practices. Collaborates across teams to mitigate threats and strengthen third-party security postures in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee end-to-end response to third-party cybersecurity incidents, coordinating with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Conduct incident triage, analysis, and root cause investigations to minimize impact on Oracle operations.
  • Develop and execute remediation plans, ensuring timely resolution and containment of threats.
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations, standards, and Oracle’s security policies during incident management.
  • Collaborate with third-party vendors to assess risks, enforce security requirements, and monitor ongoing compliance.
  • Lead post-incident reviews, generating reports and actionable recommendations for process improvements.
  • Train and mentor incident response teams on third-party risk management best practices.
  • Contribute to the continuous enhancement of Oracle’s third-party risk management framework and tools.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or related field; advanced certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM) preferred.
  • 7+ years of experience in cybersecurity incident response, with focus on third-party or supply chain risks.
  • Deep expertise in threat intelligence, vulnerability management, and incident handling methodologies.
  • Strong knowledge of regulatory frameworks such as GDPR, NIST, and ISO 27001.
  • Proven leadership skills with experience managing cross-functional teams in high-pressure situations.
  • Excellent communication and analytical skills; proficiency in tools like SIEM, SOAR, and threat hunting platforms.
