Overview

Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) is seeking a Undergrad Product Engineer in Santa Clara, CA, for new college grads with a Bachelor’s degree by June/July 2026. This fully in-office role at our Santa Clara hub offers hands-on experience building innovative cloud products. Target start date is mid-June or mid-July 2026; visa sponsorship is not available.

Responsibilities

• Develop and test features for OCI cloud services and infrastructure.
• Collaborate with product managers and engineers to define requirements.
• Write clean, efficient code in languages like Java, Python, or Go.
• Debug and optimize system performance in distributed environments.
• Participate in code reviews and agile development processes.
• Contribute to design and architecture discussions for scalable solutions.
• Build and maintain automated tests for product reliability.
• Support on-call rotations to ensure production system stability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (graduating by June/July 2026 or within 12 months prior).
• Strong programming skills in at least one modern language.
• Solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, and software engineering principles.
• Experience with cloud computing, distributed systems, or networking preferred.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to learn quickly.
• Strong communication skills and passion for cloud infrastructure.
