Oracle is seeking Undergrad Software Engineers - Database Technologies for new college grads with a Bachelor’s degree by June/July 2026. Join our San Francisco Bay Area team in Redwood Shores to innovate on cutting-edge database solutions. Target start date is mid-June or mid-July 2026 in a dynamic, collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop and test features for Oracle Database core engine.
• Collaborate with senior engineers on performance optimization projects.
• Write clean, efficient code in C++, Java, or PL/SQL.
• Debug and resolve issues in database kernel components.
• Contribute to cloud-native database services and scalability.
• Participate in code reviews and agile team ceremonies.
• Research emerging database technologies like AI/ML integration.
• Support documentation and knowledge sharing within the team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field by June/July 2026 (or within 12 months prior).
• Strong programming skills in C++, Java, or Python.
• Understanding of database concepts (SQL, relational models).
• Experience with data structures, algorithms, and OS fundamentals.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.
• Ability to work in the San Francisco Bay Area (Redwood Shores, CA).
