Overview

Oracle is seeking motivated undergraduate students for our Software Engineer Intern position in Global Industries. Gain hands-on experience developing innovative cloud solutions that power enterprise applications worldwide. Must be enrolled in a university prior to and post internship; target duration May-Aug 2026 or June-Sept 2026.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with engineering teams to design and implement software features for cloud-based platforms.
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code in Java, Python, or similar languages.
• Debug and optimize application performance using modern development tools.
• Participate in code reviews and agile sprints to deliver high-quality software.
• Integrate APIs and microservices for industry-specific solutions.
• Contribute to testing frameworks and ensure robust unit and integration tests.
• Work with data structures and algorithms to solve real-world engineering problems.
• Assist in deploying applications to Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI).

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's program in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
• Strong proficiency in at least one programming language (Java, Python, C++ preferred).
• Solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented design.
• Experience with software development tools (Git, Jenkins, Docker).
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
