Overview

The Oracle Veteran Internship Program (OVIP) offers US Veterans transitioning from active service and active-duty Military Spouses new to corporate experience a hands-on internship as a Veteran Project/Program Manager Intern. Gain real-world project management skills supporting Oracle's cloud and enterprise initiatives. This paid, entry-level role provides mentorship and pathways to full-time opportunities.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in planning and executing cross-functional projects within Oracle's cloud infrastructure programs.
  • Track project milestones, timelines, and deliverables using Agile methodologies.
  • Collaborate with engineering, product, and sales teams to resolve blockers and ensure on-time delivery.
  • Prepare status reports, dashboards, and presentations for senior leadership.
  • Support risk assessment, resource allocation, and budget tracking for assigned programs.
  • Facilitate stakeholder meetings and coordinate communications across global teams.
  • Contribute to process improvements and documentation for program management best practices.
  • Mentor junior team members and participate in OVIP community events.

Qualifications

  • Current or recent US Military Veteran transitioning from active service, or active-duty Military Spouse.
  • 1+ years of leadership or project coordination experience in military or volunteer roles.
  • Strong organizational skills with ability to manage multiple priorities in fast-paced environments.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for stakeholder engagement.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Jira, or similar project management tools.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred; equivalent military experience accepted.
