The Order Management Specialist position in our Amsterdam office is a pivotal role within the BENELUX Trade Operations team. This full-time opportunity is ideal for detail-oriented professionals passionate about order-to-cash processes in the pharmaceutical sector. You will ensure seamless order fulfillment for wholesalers, hospitals, and pharmacies, while upholding Good Distribution Practices (GDP) and regulatory standards. Enter and process orders in our SAP system, following up to guarantee on-time, in-full deliveries to customers across the BENELUX region. Your precision ensures uninterrupted supply of critical medications.
Serve as the first point of contact for customer queries, returns, and complaints. Investigate product issues in collaboration with Gilead's Responsible Person, support regulatory recalls, and participate in GDP-focused meetings.
Maintain accurate customer master data in SAP, coordinating new customer setups with Regulatory and Finance teams, including bonafide checks, credit limits, and pricing terms.
Proactively collect past-due balances, resolve payment issues, research AR discrepancies, and liaise with Financial Shared Services for month-end cash allocation. Support annual credit reviews.
Adhere to corporate policies, GDP requirements, and maintain detailed, up-to-date records in designated systems.
To succeed, you need 4+ years of experience in distribution, supply chain, order, or customer management, with proven SAP proficiency and Microsoft Office expertise (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook). Fluency in Dutch and English is essential; French is a plus. Knowledge of GDP and the pharmaceutical industry is advantageous. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, self-organized, independent within a compliance framework, and excels in communication and stakeholder collaboration.
