JOB SUMMARY

The Industrial Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing preventive and corrective maintenance on production equipment, industrial heavy machinery, and facility systems. This role requires strong troubleshooting skills across hydraulic, electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and automated systems. The technician supports equipment reliability, assists with training new team members, and helps maintain a safe, efficient manufacturing environment using modern maintenance tools and technologies.

Pay Range: $23.00 – $37.44

YOUR IMPACT

Duties are not all-inclusive; additional responsibilities may be assigned.

  • Review, prioritize, and complete maintenance work orders in a timely manner.
  • Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair hydraulic, electrical, pneumatic, conveyor, and mechanical systems.
  • Diagnose and repair industrial heavy machinery and production equipment to minimize downtime.
  • Replace or repair worn, damaged, or failed components and equipment.
  • Operate cranes and hoists for safe handling of heavy equipment and components.
  • Utilize modern diagnostic tools, automation interfaces, HMIs, and computerized maintenance systems (CMMS) to identify and resolve issues.
  • Install, handle, and maintain wiring, sensors, hardware, and mechanical assemblies.
  • Perform preventive maintenance (PMs) on production equipment safely and on schedule.
  • Accurately document maintenance activities, diagnostics, and PMs in CMMS software.
  • Communicate repair status, issues, and recommendations to supervisors and team members.
  • Coordinate with other maintenance personnel using handheld radios.
  • Assist coworkers with heavy lifting and equipment handling as needed.
  • Support training and onboarding of new maintenance employees.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement efforts by adopting new maintenance technologies and best practices.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Three (3) years of applicable position experience or an evaluated equivalent.

STANDOUT QUALIFICATIONS

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Demonstrated experience in industrial maintenance, heavy machinery, and hydraulic systems.
  • Knowledge of welding, metal fabrication, and technical equipment repair.
  • Associate degree in Electromechanical Technology or equivalent.
  • Non-Licensed Maintenance Electrical credential.
  • Computer proficiency, including CMMS and maintenance software systems, and Microsoft Office.
  • Experience maintaining production equipment such as lasers, plasma cutting machines, press brakes, dust collection systems, blast booths, and paint booths.
  • Familiarity with modern industrial manufacturing technologies, automation, and data-driven maintenance practices.
  • Forklift Certified
