Job Description

Responsible for interpretation, planning, and execution of R&M requirements on various government and commercial

contracts. Provide statistical analysis and data reduction into presentations for senior management. Determine failure

trends and failure analysis, prognostic and diagnostic implications of designs, drive corrective and preventative fleet

maintenance planning, and retroactively suggest re-design alternatives to mitigate failures.

YOUR IMPACT                             

  • Perform Reliability analysis of engineering design and hardware          

  • Assist the closed loop Failure Reporting Analysis Corrective Action (FRACAS) process in step with Test

  • Incident Report (TIRs) and work with Test and Development to analyze test data for failure trends  

  • Conduct Failure Modes Effects and Criticality Analysis (FMECA)

  • Conduct Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM)      

  • Evaluate mission mode profiles as defined by contract and customer orders    

  • Develop and exercise reliability mathematical models

  • Analyze test data for failure trends   

  • Recommend Conditioned Based Maintenance Sensors and provide insight to Built-in-Test Equipment (BIT)

  • Conduct systems level analysis on optimal fleet performance parameters                    

  • Coordinate with department managers and chief engineers regarding the R&M interface.       

  • Design Improvements for Maintainability

  • Represent Oshkosh Corporation at RAM Scoring Conferences and Corrective Action Review Team (CART)

  • meetings.

  • Assist engineering in Assessment and Scoring Conference preparation.   

  • Supply Chain and Logistics analysis.

  • Conduct trade off analysis to optimize maintenance philosophy.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Accredited Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field with Internship experience or six (6) or more months of related work experience.

STANDOUT QUALIFICATIONS

  • A strong mathematical and data analytics background

  • Experience in reliability & maintainability engineering

  • Working knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical schematics

  • Prior experience working on or with complex vehicle systems or machinery

  • Experience with Microsoft Access tools, VBA coding, Data base management

  • Experience with PTC products including Windchill, Creo, and Windchill Quality Solutions

  • Experience with Reliability and Maintainability Software (WQS, JAMES, MADE, etc.)

Pay Range:

$64,500.00 - $103,500.00

The above pay range reflects the minimum and maximum target pay for the position across all U.S. locations. Within this range, individual pay is determined by various factors, including the scope and responsibilities of the role, the candidate's experience, education and skills, as well as the equity of pay among team members in similar positions.
