In this role, you will be responsible for the sales and conclusion of service agreements, as well as the development of new customer relationships in your district. You will manage the entire sales process, from appointment booking and presentations to quotation and follow-up. Using your advisory skills, you will tailor service solutions to meet customer needs. Your primary task will be to expand our customer base for elevator service agreements through proactive sales. The position is based at our Aarhus office and covers Jylland and Fyn, reporting to our Service Branch Manager.
As an Account Manager at Otis in Jylland/Fyn, your day will be dynamic and focused on building relationships and driving sales. A typical day might involve starting with some administrative tasks, such as reviewing sales reports and planning your customer visits for the week. You'll then hit the road, visiting existing and potential clients across Jylland and Fyn. These visits could involve presenting Otis' service offerings, conducting site surveys to assess elevator maintenance needs, negotiating contracts, and addressing any customer concerns.
You'll spend a significant portion of your time identifying and pursuing new business opportunities. This could involve cold calling potential clients, attending industry events, and networking with key decision-makers. You'll also collaborate closely with the service branch manager and other team members to develop and implement sales strategies.
Back in the office (or working remotely), you'll update your sales pipeline in the CRM system, prepare quotations, and follow up on leads. You'll also participate in team meetings to discuss progress, share best practices, and receive updates on company initiatives. The day ends with planning for the next day's activities, ensuring you're prepared to meet your sales targets and provide exceptional customer service.
