Role Overview

As a Production/Maintenance, Field Service technician, you will be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of elevators and escalators in the Greater Taipei and Yilan areas. You will work independently and as part of a team to ensure the safe and reliable operation of our equipment. This role requires a strong technical aptitude, excellent problem-solving skills, and a commitment to customer satisfaction.

Day in the Life

Your day might start with a scheduled maintenance visit to a commercial building in Banqiao District. You'll perform routine inspections, lubricate moving parts, and check safety devices. Next, you might respond to a service call at an office building in Taipei, where an elevator is experiencing a malfunction. You'll use your diagnostic skills to identify the problem and make the necessary repairs. You'll also spend time completing paperwork, ordering parts, and communicating with customers.

• Conduct routine maintenance checks on elevators and escalators, including lubrication, adjustments, and safety inspections.
• Respond to service calls for equipment malfunctions, diagnosing and repairing electrical and mechanical issues.
• Troubleshoot complex problems using diagnostic tools and technical manuals.
• Replace worn or damaged components, such as belts, bearings, and electrical wiring.
• Perform safety tests to ensure equipment meets regulatory standards.
• Communicate effectively with customers to explain technical issues and repair solutions.
