Responsibilities

  • Perform scheduled maintenance and inspections on elevators and escalators within assigned area
  • Ensure the safety of passengers and technical personnel during maintenance activities
  • Troubleshoot and repair elevator and escalator malfunctions
  • Respond promptly to breakdowns and strive for first-time fix resolution
  • Perform minor repairs to ensure continuous operation
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs
  • Communicate directly with clients on-site to build strong working relationships
  • Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies
  • Manage and maintain assigned portfolio of elevators within designated geographic area
  • Use electronic and digital tools to diagnose and document work
  • Order parts and materials as needed
  • Participate in ongoing training and development programs
  • Work a rotating on-call schedule for after-hours emergencies
  • Collaborate with other technicians and supervisors to resolve complex issues
