ŌURA is seeking a Retail Marketing Manager to lead the development, execution, and optimization of retail marketing programs across key retail and e-tail partners, including Target, Walmart, and specialty retailers domestically and globally. This role will manage retail marketing budgets, negotiate partner investments, develop merchandising plans, and collaborate cross-functionally to maximize Oura’s brand visibility, retail performance, and revenue across channels.

The ideal candidate is analytical, highly organized, an excellent communicator, and experienced in driving measurable business outcomes through channel marketing programs.

Preferred location is San Francisco or New York, remote candidates will be considered.

What You Will Do:

Retail Marketing Strategy & Planning

  • Manage annual retail marketing budgets including co-op dollars, MDF, and above the line spend , ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and alignment with channel goals and company revenue targets.
  • Track, measure, and optimize performance across all retail marketing investments to ensure ROI and continuous improvement.
  • Develop and execute in-channel marketing plans for major retailers and e-tailers in the U.S. and international markets.
  • Negotiate co-marketing investments, in-kind placements, and promotional opportunities with key accounts to maximize visibility and impact.

Online and In-store Merchandising & Retail Experience

  • Oversee in-channel online product listings (content, imagery, copy, and optimization) to ensure accuracy and maximize conversion.
  • Create and maintain plan-o-grams, merchandising guidelines, and in-store experience strategies for major retailers.
  • Collaborate with internal and external partners to secure optimal display space, end caps, feature placement, and e-commerce visibility.

Revenue & Promotion Management

  • Identify and coordinate around key drive times (e.g., seasonal moments, product launches, retailer events) to maximize marketing placements and brand exposure.
  • Manage development, implementation, and optimization of direct and channel-based promotions, ensuring programs meet growth objectives and adhere to brand standards.

Channel Partner Relationship Management

  • Serve as day-to-day contact for retail and e-tail partners, ensuring productive collaboration, timely communication, and seamless execution of joint initiatives.
  • Work closely with Sales, Operations, Brand, Creative, and Product teams to deliver integrated and channel-appropriate marketing initiatives.

Analytics, Reporting & Insights

  • Leverage business analytics, retail data, and shopper insights to evaluate program effectiveness and drive data-backed decision-making.
  • Build dashboards, reports, and presentations that clearly communicate performance, learnings, and future recommendations to leadership and cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Continuously refine strategies and tactics based on insights, trends, and competitive analysis.

We Would Love If You Have:

  • 5–7 years of experience in retail marketing, channel marketing, trade marketing, or shopper marketing within consumer goods, electronics, wearables, or related industries.
  • Experience managing retail marketing budgets and optimizing spend for measurable results.
  • Familiarity with major U.S. retailers (Target, Walmart, Best Buy, Costco, etc.) and/or international retailers and marketplaces.
  • Strong negotiation skills and experience securing co-marketing investments or added-value placements.
  • Understanding of merchandising strategy, plan-o-gram development, and e-commerce content best practices.
  • Excellent analytical skills; ability to translate data into actionable insights and strategic recommendations.
  • Strong cross-functional collaboration and communication skills; ability to influence and align across teams and external partners.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency with analytics tools (e.g., Looker, Tableau), retail portals, and project management software a plus.

Oura takes a market-based approach to pay, which may vary depending on your location. US locations are categorized into tiers based on a cost of labor index for that geographic area. While most offers will be closer to the starting range, successful candidates' pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location, internal peer equity, and market conditions. These ranges may be modified in the future.

  • Region 2 $100,000 - $ $125,000
  • Region 3 $94,000 - $117,000
