Vineyard Post Acute is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our growing rehab team. We offer flexible scheduling, competitive pay, and a supportive environment where your clinical skills and passion for patient care are truly valued.

The COTA provides direct patient treatments under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist and supports the delivery of high-quality rehab services.

• Provide treatments as directed by the Occupational Therapist

• Document daily treatment notes, progress notes, and recertification documentation per state and OT Board requirements

• Follow the physician treatment plan and facility protocols

• Assist with training Restorative Aides as needed

• Communicate patient progress and concerns to the supervising OT and care team

• Participate in in-service training and interdisciplinary meetings

• Educate patients, families, and nursing staff on maintenance programs and caregiver strategies

• Support discharge planning

• Help maintain a clean and organized therapy space

• Report equipment issues to ensure safe, proper functioning

• Build positive, professional relationships with residents, families, and staff

• Licensed Occupational Therapy Assistant in the State of California

• Strong documentation and computer skills (Casamba, PointClickCare preferred)

• Meets all continuing education requirements and maintains license in good standing
