Job Title: Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)

Position Overview: We are currently seeking Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to join our team of dedicated healthcare professionals. As a CNA at Redwood Cove, you will play a crucial role in providing direct care to our residents under the supervision of licensed nurses. This is an excellent opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of seniors while gaining valuable experience in the healthcare field.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
  • Provide emotional support and companionship to residents
  • Help residents with mobility and transfers
  • Assist with mealtime activities and feeding as needed
  • Document resident care activities and report any changes in resident condition to the nursing staff
  • Adhere to all facility policies and procedures to ensure the safety and well-being of residents

Qualifications:

  • Valid certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in the state of California
  • Previous experience in a long-term care or skilled nursing facility preferred
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care
  • Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening
