Cook – Full-Time | Sonoma Post Acute

Starting at $21/hr | Full-Time

Sonoma Post Acute is hiring a Full-Time Cook to join our dietary team! If you take pride in preparing great meals, enjoy working in a fast-paced kitchen, and want a steady, meaningful job serving seniors, we’d love to meet you.

Our residents count on nutritious, delicious meals every day—and our kitchen team plays a huge role in their comfort, health, and happiness.






What You’ll Do
  • Prepare and cook meals according to planned menus and dietary guidelines

  • Follow food safety, sanitation, and infection control procedures

  • Assist with meal prep, portioning, and plating for residents

  • Help maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment

  • Work closely with the Dietary Manager and team to ensure quality and consistency

  • Support special diets as ordered (low sodium, diabetic, texture modifications, etc.)






What We’re Looking For
  • Experience as a cook (healthcare or skilled nursing experience is a plus!)

  • Knowledge of safe food handling and sanitation practices

  • Reliable, team-oriented, and able to work independently

  • Able to work efficiently while maintaining quality and care
