We are looking for a dependable and team-oriented Dietary Aide to support our kitchen and dining services in a warm, resident-centered assisted living community. This role is essential in helping us provide safe, nutritious, and enjoyable meals for our residents while maintaining a clean and sanitary kitchen environment.

Set up meal trays and assist with meal service
Clear and strip returned trays and operate the dishwasher
Monitor and record dishwasher water temperature and chlorine levels
Prepare snacks and nourishments for residents
Maintain cleanliness of kitchen areas, including:
Washing dishes and cleaning work surfaces
Sweeping and mopping floors
Cleaning refrigerators
Taking out trash and garbage
Safely store groceries and supplies
Assist cooks and dietary supervisors as needed
Leave the kitchen clean, sanitary, and well-organized at the end of each shift
Participate in orientation and ongoing training
Work cooperatively with team members across all departments
High school diploma or equivalent
Ability to learn food service routines quickly
Ability to read and follow recipes and technical procedures
Strong communication skills and ability to work well with others
Basic math skills (fractions, measurements, ratios)
Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
Must obtain and maintain a Food Handler’s Certificate
Frequent standing and walking
Frequent reaching, pushing, and pulling
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
Occasional bending, kneeling, crouching, or climbing
Ability to see clearly (near and far), hear, and communicate effectively
Indoor kitchen and dining environment
Noise level is generally low to moderate
Reasonable accommodations may be made for qualified individuals
