Job Description
Position: Dietary Aide - Part Time
Pay: $17-$21 per hour
East Bay Post Acute is seeking a dedicated and reliable Dietary Aide to join our full-time team. The Dietary Aide reports to the Dietary Supervisor and Cook and is responsible for preparing and serving meals, cleaning the kitchen area, and ensuring a sanitary dining experience for our residents.
Responsibilities:
Assemble and set up patient meal trays.
Distribute and serve meals and snacks to residents.
Collect and clean used meal trays, including stripping trays and washing dishes.
Operate and maintain the dishwashing machine, monitoring chlorine and water temperature.
Restock groceries and supplies in a safe and sanitary manner.
Assist with general kitchen duties, including sweeping, mopping, and maintaining clean work surfaces and refrigerators.
Help orient and train new dietary staff.
Collaborate effectively with all department personnel.
