👨‍🍳 Position Summary

We are seeking a dependable and passionate Dietary Cook to join our culinary team. This role is essential in preparing nutritious and appealing meals that meet the dietary needs of our residents.

🛠️ Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve meals according to planned menus and dietary requirements.
• Ensure food is cooked and stored at proper temperatures.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen and dining areas.
• Follow portion control guidelines and food safety standards.
• Collaborate with dietary aides and nursing staff to accommodate special diets.
• Assist with inventory and ordering of food supplies.

👤 Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in a healthcare or senior living kitchen preferred.
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards (ServSafe certification a plus).
• 3 years experience in nursing facility
• Ability to follow recipes and dietary guidelines.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs and stand for extended periods.
