Now Hiring: Full-Time Physical Therapist (PT)
📍 Arbor Post Acute
1200 Springfield Dr, Chico, CA 95928
Hourly Rate: $62-$72/hr DOE
🩺 Medical, Dental, Vision & 401(k) Available

Arbor Post Acute is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapist to join our skilled nursing and rehabilitation team. If you’re passionate about helping patients regain strength, mobility, and independence in a supportive, collaborative environment, we’d love to meet you.

About the Role
As a Physical Therapist, you will evaluate and treat patients following physician referrals, develop individualized treatment plans, and collaborate closely with an interdisciplinary care team. You’ll play a key role in patient recovery, staff education, and discharge planning while maintaining accurate and timely clinical documentation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Evaluate patients promptly and develop effective, physician-approved treatment plans

  • Provide hands-on therapy services and monitor patient progress

  • Supervise Physical Therapy Assistants, aides, and students in accordance with state practice acts

  • Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, families, and the rehab team

  • Participate in care conferences, utilization reviews, and discharge planning

  • Educate patients, families, and staff on therapeutic programs and safe mobility

  • Maintain compliant documentation and recommend appropriate durable medical equipment

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy (Master’s or Doctorate preferred)

  • Licensed Physical Therapist in good standing

  • Experience in post-acute or skilled nursing settings preferred

  • Strong communication, teamwork, and documentation skills

  • Proficiency with rehab and EMR systems (Casamba, PointClickCare preferred)
