Provide treatments as directed by the Physical Therapist
Document daily notes and progress updates in accordance with PT Board standards
Support a clean, organized, and safe therapy environment
Participate in care conferences and collaborate with the interdisciplinary team
Assist with equipment cleaning and maintenance
Follow established treatment plans and adjust care as directed
Support nursing staff by training Restorative Aides when needed
Communicate patient progress, challenges, and recommendations to the therapy team
Educate patients, families, and caregivers on home programs and discharge planning
Report equipment issues to ensure safe, efficient operation
Build positive and effective relationships with residents, families, and coworkers
Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant in the state
Ability to maintain licensure in good standing
Comfortable using documentation platforms such as Casamba and PointClickCare
Strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving abilities
Passion for helping patients achieve meaningful progress
Frequent standing, walking, lifting, pushing, and pulling
Ability to lift 50+ lbs frequently and up to 100 lbs occasionally
Occasional bending, kneeling, or crouching
Adequate vision for close work, distance tasks, and depth perception
Supportive, team-oriented therapy department
Low to moderate noise level
Reasonable accommodations available for individuals with disabilities
