Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA)
Whitney Oaks Care Center – Carmichael, CA
Pay: $45–$50 per hour, DOE
Schedule: Full-Time, Part-Time, or PRN Opportunities Available

Whitney Oaks Care Center is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our collaborative and resident-focused therapy team. If you’re passionate about helping older adults regain strength, mobility, and confidence, this role offers a rewarding opportunity to make a meaningful impact every day.

What You’ll Do
  • Assist Physical Therapists in delivering individualized treatment plans

  • Provide therapeutic exercises, gait training, balance activities, and functional mobility interventions

  • Encourage residents through meaningful progress and personalized care

  • Accurately document services in accordance with facility and regulatory guidelines

  • Collaborate with PTs, OTs, nursing staff, and the interdisciplinary team

  • Create an encouraging, safe, and motivating environment for all residents






What We’re Looking For
  • Active California PTA license

  • Prior skilled nursing or post-acute experience preferred, but new grads are welcome

  • Strong communication skills and a positive, resident-centered approach

  • Reliability, professionalism, and the ability to work well within a team

  • A passion for helping residents reach their highest level of independence
