Now Hiring: Physical Therapist (PRN)

📍 Arbor Post Acute
1200 Springfield Dr, Chico, CA 95928

Hourly Rate: $62-$72/hr DOE
Schedule: PRN / As Needed
 

Team Environment: Supportive, collaborative, and resident-focused

Arbor Post Acute is seeking a skilled and compassionate PRN Physical Therapist to join our interdisciplinary rehabilitation team. This role offers flexibility while allowing you to make a meaningful impact by helping patients regain mobility, independence, and quality of life.






What You’ll Do
  • Evaluate patients promptly following physician referral and develop individualized treatment plans

  • Deliver high-quality physical therapy services in accordance with physician orders and best practices

  • Document evaluations, daily treatments, progress notes, and discharge summaries in compliance with state and payer requirements

  • Collaborate with physicians, nursing, families, and the interdisciplinary care team to support patient progress

  • Supervise Physical Therapy Assistants, aides, and students in accordance with state practice acts

  • Participate in care conferences, utilization review meetings, and rehabilitation team discussions as needed

  • Provide education and training to patients, families, and facility staff to support continuity of care

  • Assist with discharge planning and caregiver training

  • Recommend and facilitate ordering of durable medical equipment to promote patient independence

  • Support staff development through in-services and ongoing education



What We’re Looking For
  • Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy (Master’s or Doctorate preferred)

  • Current, active Physical Therapist license in good standing

  • Experience in a post-acute or skilled nursing setting preferred

  • Proficiency with electronic documentation systems such as Casamba and PointClickCare

  • Strong communication, organizational, and teamwork skills

  • Ability to build positive relationships with patients, families, and colleagues
