About the role
In this position, you will be responsible for assessing patients and creating personalized, evidence-based treatment plans that promote recovery and improved quality of life. You will work closely with our interdisciplinary team, including nursing staff, to ensure comprehensive and compassionate care.
Your responsibilities include:
Evaluating patients' mobility, strength, and balance to develop effective treatment strategies.
Administering a range of therapeutic techniques and exercises to reduce pain and restore function.
Communicating with physicians and other team members regarding patient progress and care plans.
Supervising Physical Therapy Assistants and training Restorative Aides to ensure high-quality patient care.
Coordinating with patients, families, and staff for successful discharge planning and post-therapy maintenance programs.
Maintaining accurate patient records in compliance with all state and federal regulations.

Required qualifications
A valid Physical Therapist license in California.
