Job Opening: Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) - Part-Time/PRN

Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) for a part-time/PRN position at All Saints Sub Acute and Skilled Nursing.
Compensation and Benefits:

Job Description:
Treat patients as directed by the Physical Therapist.
Record daily treatment notes and weekly progress notes in compliance with PT Board requirements.
Assist in maintaining departmental functionality.
Participate in patient care and rehabilitation conferences as needed.
Assist with cleaning and maintaining the treatment area.
Implement treatment plans as prescribed by the physician.
Assist the nursing department with training of Restorative Aides.
Communicate with supervisors and other health team members regarding patient progress, problems, and plans.
Participate in in-service training programs for other staff in the facility.
Document any treatment changes according to policy and procedures.
Instruct patients' families or nursing staff in maintenance programs and caregiver training in preparation for discharge from therapy services.
Report any issues with departmental equipment to ensure it remains in good working order.
Exhibit the ability to relate positively, effectively, and appropriately with patients/residents, families, staff, and professional colleagues.
Qualifications:
Valid Physical Therapist Assistant License.
