What You’ll Do

  • Implement Care Plans: Provide skilled physical therapy treatments as directed by a licensed Physical Therapist to help residents meet their rehabilitation goals.

  • Monitor Progress: Track patient responses, document daily treatment notes, and communicate progress or concerns with the supervising therapist and care team.

  • Educate & Empower: Teach residents, families, and staff about home exercise programs and caregiver techniques to promote continued success after discharge.

  • Collaborate with the Team: Participate in care conferences and contribute insights to enhance patient outcomes.

  • Maintain a Safe Environment: Keep treatment areas clean and organized, ensuring all equipment remains in good working order.

  • Follow Standards of Care: Adhere to state PTA practice regulations and facility policies at all times.
