Job Posting: Part-Time Weekend Receptionist

Location:
Peninsula Post Acute

Position Type:
Part-Time

Schedule:
Friday, Saturday and Sunday, 8 AM - 5 PM

Starting Rate:
$21 per hour

General Purpose:

The primary purpose of this position is to warmly greet visitors, answer telephone calls, and perform general clerical duties. This role is strictly limited to the Reception/Administrative area and has no clinical involvement or duties whatsoever.

Essential Duties:

  • Provide general administrative and clerical support.

  • Greet and welcome patients, clients, and visitors with a friendly and positive attitude.

  • Answer telephone calls, take messages, or forward calls as needed.

  • Check visitors in and direct or escort them to their specific destinations.

  • Inform staff members of visitors’ arrivals and cancellations.

  • Maintain a visitor sign-in log.

  • Handle incoming and outgoing mail.

  • Schedule appointments and manage meeting room bookings.

  • Keep the reception area tidy and organized.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

  • Agree to maintain the confidentiality of all resident care information, including protected health information, and promptly report any suspected or known violations to the Administrator.

  • Uphold the confidentiality of residents’ protected health information and report any unauthorized disclosures.
