Respiratory Therapist – Full Time


Peninsula Post-Acute | Burlingame, CA
Hourly Rate: $48 – $50

Position Summary:

Provide respiratory assessment, therapy, and rehabilitation to patients with pulmonary disorders. You’ll play a key role in diagnostic evaluation, direct care, and ongoing management to optimize each resident’s respiratory function and overall well-being.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver respiratory and pulmonary treatments per physician orders and facility protocols
• Conduct focused interviews and assessments to identify patient needs and monitor physiologic/psychosocial changes
• Develop and implement individualized care plans, prioritizing interventions for optimal outcomes
• Document assessments, treatments, and patient responses accurately and promptly
• Report changes in respiratory status to supervisors and interdisciplinary team members
• Uphold strict infection control, safety, and emergency procedures
• Foster open communication and collaboration with all facility departments
• Protect patient confidentiality and promptly report any privacy concerns

Qualifications:

• Current Respiratory Care Practitioner license (California)
• Demonstrated ability to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate respiratory care
• Strong interpersonal, documentation, and critical-thinking skills
• Commitment to compassionate, resident-centered service
