Job Description

Reports to: Director of Nursing

Part time/As needed opportunities available

Full Wage Range: $44-$60/hr DOE and Seniority

Shift differentials avail $2/$3hr for Eve/NOC shifts

As an RN at Mountain View Post Acute, you will provide high-quality care to residents, manage nursing staff, and ensure that our facility maintains the highest standards of healthcare. This is a great opportunity for an experienced nurse looking to make a real difference in the lives of others. 

 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team. 

  • Supervise, mentor, and train nursing staff, ensuring they follow proper protocols and provide excellent care. 

  • Administer medications, treatments, and therapies as prescribed and monitor for effectiveness and side effects. 

  • Monitor patient progress, document observations, and report significant changes to physicians and family members. 

  • Provide emotional support and education to patients and their families to enhance their understanding of healthcare needs. 

  • Maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for residents. 

  • Ensure compliance with all healthcare regulations and infection control policies. 

Qualifications: 

  • Active RN license in Washington State is required. 

  • Previous experience in a skilled nursing facility or long-term care setting preferred. 

  • Strong clinical skills, with the ability to assess patient needs and prioritize care. 

  • Ability to lead, educate, and communicate effectively with a healthcare team. 

  • Compassionate, patient, and committed to providing high-quality care. 

  • CPR and First Aid certification required.
