Position: Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) – Part-Time
Location: Sierra Valley Rehab Center – Porterville, CA
Starting Pay: $65.00 per hour

Sierra Valley Rehab Center is seeking a talented and dedicated Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our interdisciplinary care team. This part-time position is a great opportunity for a skilled professional passionate about improving communication and swallowing abilities in a skilled nursing setting.

Sierra Valley Rehab Center is a respected provider of skilled nursing and rehabilitation services in Porterville, California. We are committed to providing compassionate care and helping our residents reach their highest level of independence.

Responsibilities:

• Evaluate patients for speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in coordination with the care team

• Provide direct therapy and caregiver/staff training as needed

• Maintain accurate documentation, including daily treatment notes, evaluations, progress reports, and discharge summaries

• Participate in care planning meetings and collaborate with nursing and therapy staff

• Ensure compliance with all applicable regulations and facility standards

Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program

• Current and valid California SLP license

• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred

• Prior experience in a skilled nursing or post-acute setting strongly preferred

• Strong communication, organizational, and clinical skills

• CPR certification
