Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) – Skilled Nursing Facility
Whitney Oaks Care Center
💲 Pay: $60–$75/hr (DOE)
🕒 Schedule: Full-Time | Part-Time | PRN
📍 Location: Whitney Oaks Care Center

Whitney Oaks Care Center is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our dedicated rehabilitation team. We are a resident-centered skilled nursing facility focused on high-quality care, teamwork, and positive patient outcomes. This is a great opportunity for an SLP who is passionate about helping patients improve communication, cognition, and swallowing function.

Job Responsibilities

As a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP), you will:

  • Evaluate and treat residents with speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing disorders

  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans

  • Collaborate with PTs, OTs, nursing staff, and the interdisciplinary team

  • Document evaluations, progress notes, and outcomes accurately

  • Educate residents, families, and staff as appropriate

  • Promote safe swallowing practices and effective communication strategies






Job Requirements
  • Current California Speech-Language Pathologist license (required)

  • Skilled nursing or post-acute experience preferred (not required)

  • Strong communication and documentation skills

  • Compassionate, resident-focused approach to care

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
