Job Description
- Patient Care:
- Assist with daily living activities like bathing, dressing, grooming, and feeding.
- Provide personal care, including oral hygiene and making the patient comfortable at their bedside.
- Support patient mobility by helping with transfers, ambulation, and range-of-motion exercises.
- Health Monitoring and Recording:
- Measure and record vital signs like blood pressure, pulse, respiration, and temperature.
- Monitor and report changes in patient condition to the nursing team.
- Document patient care, condition, and progress accurately.
- Support and Environment:
- Provide emotional and psychological support to patients and their families.
- Ensure a clean, safe, and pleasant physical environment for residents.
- Assist other STNAs and nurses as directed.
- Nutrition and Hydration:
- Serve meals and snacks and assist with ensuring nutritional needs are met.
- Monitor food and fluid intake as needed
Requirements: Must have a current and valid STNA license in Ohio
