Job Description

  • Patient Care:
    • Assist with daily living activities like bathing, dressing, grooming, and feeding.
    • Provide personal care, including oral hygiene and making the patient comfortable at their bedside.
    • Support patient mobility by helping with transfers, ambulation, and range-of-motion exercises.
  • Health Monitoring and Recording:
    • Measure and record vital signs like blood pressure, pulse, respiration, and temperature.
    • Monitor and report changes in patient condition to the nursing team.
    • Document patient care, condition, and progress accurately.
  • Support and Environment:
    • Provide emotional and psychological support to patients and their families.
    • Ensure a clean, safe, and pleasant physical environment for residents.
    • Assist other STNAs and nurses as directed.
  • Nutrition and Hydration:
    • Serve meals and snacks and assist with ensuring nutritional needs are met.
    • Monitor food and fluid intake as needed
Requirements: Must have a current and valid STNA license in Ohio
